This early (and cloudy) mid-September morning began at the stunning Praia da Falésia in Albufeira, Algarve, in the south of Portugal. Steph, Dan, and baby Asher were staying at the beautiful Pine Cliffs Resort and wanted to capture some memories of their little adventure as a family of three.

The soft morning light bathed Praia da Falésia beach, while the dramatic cliffs provided the breathtaking backdrop that makes this location so unique in the Algarve, Portugal. Our family photoshoot flowed effortlessly, moving at baby Asher’s own pace — cuddles, joyful giggles and those intimate moments of genuine connection between Steph, Dan and their little one.


There was no pressure, no forced poses — just a calm, heartfelt hour capturing pure love and tenderness. These are the sunrise sessions I cherish the most: peaceful, authentic and rich with emotion!


Steph and Dan, thank you for trusting me to capture these special memories of your family’s first adventure together in the Algarve. One day, baby Asher will look back on these photos and feel the deep love that surrounded him from the very start.
